Description
My dad is a big organic gardener. He's never happier than when he's out digging in the dirt and tending to his crops. My dad also collects teddy bears, so for Father's Day this year I made him an extra-large amigurumi farmer bear.
I learned a lot about making larger-scale amigurumi from this bear, and there's a lot of things I would change if I did it over again, but over all I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. The hardest part was of course all the little vegetables. While the bear itself was time consuming, crocheting tiny vegetables is a definite challenge. I also had fun figuring out how to make the hat and the stripes on the watermelon. All in all it was one big learning experience, and a lot of fun to do.
And of course, Dad loved it!

Wow! I love how you put a personality on this adorable bear! And of course all of the details on the vegetables and fruits
I just love it. You did a great job
